Must be a officially registered automotive retail or rental business in Botswana with valid CIPA registration Number, BURS TIN or BURS Tax Clearance Certificate.

  • Official CIPA Company Registration Number
  • Tax Identification Number (TIN) or BURS Tax Clearance Certificate
Operations

Physical Dealership/Office

Must maintain a physical, verifiable commercial showroom or designated secure lot accessible to customers during standard business hours. Exceptions will be made for online-only dealerships.

Verification Criteria:
  • Permanent physical address in Botswana
  • Secure vehicle storage and display area
Customer Service

Contact Details

Assign a designated dealership representative responsible for responding to customer inquiries and managing Moto platform requests.

Verification Criteria:
  • Primary active phone number
  • Secondary active phone number
Customer Service

High-Quality Photography

Provide clean, well-lit photos showing exterior angles and interior features to maximize buyer confidence.

Verification Criteria:
  • Minimum 5 photos per vehicle listing
  • Good lighting (outdoors or well-lit interior)
  • Highlight any cosmetic flaws transparently

Comprehensive Vehicle History

All vehicles must have a comprehensive, honest and transparent history report to be listed on Moto.

  • Mileage accuracy
